Josh is a breath of fresh air. Competent, honest, and "does what he says" kind of a person. The crew worked hard to prune my trees and left the yard spotless. I wish they provided other services, like construction! I would hire the company in a second if it is run by good people like Josh and his crew.

This was 3rd company I called, got quick and honest reply. 2 trees were removed within the week, professionally and as discussed. Clean up was amazing! Nice guys, very happy and would recommend any day! Thank you Josh and Jessica and their team.

Josh and crew removed a very large Tulip Poplar tree that had become a hazard. Upon stopping in to look at the job he was able to work us in very quickly. Everyone did a wonderful job - from professionalism, promptness, and completeness. Really couldn't ask for a better experience.

Josh and the crew from Hometown were great to work with. They surveyed, quoted and scheduled the work to be done with in a week or two from our first phone call. Unmatched service and responsiveness. We scheduled a full days work and the crew worked hard all day and dropped, chopped and chipped a ton of dead ash trees. And left our property looking good.

They provide all relevant information liability insurance,workman's compensation,and a professional estimate in writing before the job is even started.
They cut down a huge tree for me with power lines all around and were so careful to not do any damage.

After contacting numerous tree companies and getting little to no response, Josh and I finally connected this spring. He patiently walked the property with me to discuss the proposed work, and gave excellent feedback and advice. Within days, I had a detailed estimate that included photos of each tree. Once we decided which trees were to be trimmed and removed, they revised the estimate and scheduled the work. Lucky for everyone, the crew came a week early and did a terrific job. Fast, efficient and safe. I would not hesitate to use Hometown again.

Josh did a great job. He came out and gave us a quote within a couple of days. Plus, he worked with us on a couple of tweaks to keep the price down. He scheduled the service within a week. He had some trouble that day with guys calling off, so he worked out something with another guy in the business so that he could show up as planned. They did a great job of cleaning up the area. I'd definitely call them again if we ever needed other tree work done!

Cleared out some underbrush and trimmed up a row of Norwegian spruce trees. From estimate to job completion they were responsive and got the job done quickly. Would call them again!

Josh and his crew did an amazing job. We have several mature trees on our property that were overgrown and neglected for many years before we purchased the property. Hometown was able to stop out and provide an estimate to get the entire property cleaned up. After reviewing the proposal and saving some of the work for a future visit, our job was scheduled. The crew called when they were on their way and they showed on time. Once they arrived, Josh walked around the property and explained the process and went over the agreed on work with me.
They took special care to trim trees over the house without damaging the house. There were a surprising amount of limbs and branches to dispose of as the trimming occurred, which the crew did quickly and cleanly. Our yard was left looking better than it did before the crew arrived. They did an excellent job with everything that we discussed, and even helped me out with a couple of things that we hadn't discussed beforehand. We will definitely be calling Hometown back when we are ready to get more tree work done.

He also saved me money by removing quoted services that were later deemed unnecessary.

Josh and his team removed four 50 -60 foot pines that were leaning over our septic system and towards our house. They had the trees down and the yard cleaned in less than 1 hour. They protected the septic tank and house ensuring none of the trees fell the way they were leaning. Price was great and job was done right. Hometown is now my go to group for tree services. I highly recommend this group for all tree needs

These guys are great. I live in Cleveland and storm took out major Maple trees in my back yard. They were at my front door the day after I called Erie Ins. and were removing and cleaning up debris right away. Great job will use them again.

We had a very large silver maple that was dying from a fungus. Josh knew the Latin name of the fungus, its signs and symptoms, etc. Typically I call 2 to 3 contractors to obtain quotes, worker's comp coverage, general liability insurance, accident history, etc., as well as the estimate. (When a contractor comes to your home - you shouldn't have to worry about your liability from them or a sub-contractor.) When I met Josh, we thoroughly discussed the scope (large silver maple, two weeping cherry trees), I received the quote, worker's comp and insurance coverage, etc. I stopped obtaining quotes and hired on the spot. The professionalism, focus on safety during the job with the quality of the results confirmed my instincts to only obtain one quote for this job and go with Josh. THAT was a first! We could not be more pleased. His company went above and beyond, even performed additional tree trimming. Well done Sir!

We have used Hometown several times and have been thrilled each time. I would highly recommend them to any one. Very personable, friendly and hard working. I HIGHLY recommend this company. Josh is knowledgeable, reliable, and fair. Over the course of 2 days, and the removal of five giant trees, Josh and his crew showed a solid work ethic from the first cut to the final cleanup. My neighbors were so impressed that they requested his service, as well. If, for some reason, you're between estimates, definitely go with this company as you're paying for excellent work and a piece of mind!

Josh's crew arrived with just 3 members to cut down 3 pretty big trees. Although they were short handed, they did a fantastic job. They were efficient and left our yard looking better than when it started. Will even took the time to cut us some seats for a fire pit. We did some research and found these guys were much more cheaper. They are a really great and friendly crew. They will be who we will use for future services. Can't say enough about this company!

Josh was quick at coming out getting me a quote and being sure his crew could do the job. I'm no expert at all but to me the job seemed impossible to do with out the tree I needed down damaging the house. I was AMAZED the crew had this tree down and they didn't have to use any heavy equipment at all they dropped it down piece at a time where they said. And was down in less than 8 hrs. I highly recommend this business. They had the best quote and were quick to respond and get the job done!

Josh and his crew cut down 9 trees. The team was very professional. Before I had them come out, I asked for insurance documents and Josh provided them. Price was the best bid out of several.

Two words.....Tree Ninjas. ..... Josh and his guys came in, removed seven trees and left the yard like it was when they arrived. This seemed to be quite a challenge given one tree was next to a pole building and the others were in mulch beds near plantings. All of this left undisturbed. The job was also priced right and done in the proposed time line . Neighbors on the street took notice and will be calling Hometown Tree Service for future work.

The guys at Hometown Lawn and Tree Service are true professionals! We just had a huge oak tree removed and two other oaks trimmed as well as a few pine trees trimmed. They cleaned up all the branches and hauled everything away. The yard looks great.

Hometown Lawn and Tree Service was incredibly helpful to us last week. We had a tree fall down during a storm and they were so fast to get out and get us a quote and came out two days later to remove the tree that fell down and another one next to it that lost root integrity due to the other tree falling down. They were reasonably priced, very easy to work with through the scheduling, worked quickly on site and did an amazing job cleaning up all the debris from the tree removal. On top of doing a great job on the tree and stump removal, they were incredibly nice people. I would recommend them to anyone looking for tree services and will not hesitate to call them for any other jobs we may need in the future.

There are so many tree services to pick from however we lucked out by choosing Hometown Lawn and Tree Service. Even though they were extremely busy they were able to come the next day and help us remove our fallen tree. They were very fair on their quote and were much lower than other services. They were efficient and very personable. They did an amazing job cleaning up. I would recommend this Team to anyone :)
